Vanessa
Meet Vanessa! Vanessa is a Pilates Instructor and with a passion to help others be the best in their own bodies. She has been teaching pilates since 2015 in New York. She was trained and certified by Ellie Herman who was trained by Kathy Grant.
She uses her knowledge of anatomy and her dance background to focus on helping clients achieve their ultimate goals. Whether it be toning, strength training, muscle building, flexibility, mobility pre or post surgery or injury prevention; she hones in on specific needs for every body. As she works with clients she believes that the most important thing to do in order to see results is to keep moving.
Why I Teach: I like to focus more on helping each person achieve wholeness. I truly desire that every person should be comfortable and more at peace with living in their own bodies. I enjoy watching clients discover new things about how they move through the exercises. I believe that we only get one body and we should treat it with the care and respect that it deserves. I enjoy taking others on a journey to discover how functional movement can alleviate pain, prevent injury and assist in any rehabilitation
Fun Fact: I am learning to play acoustic guitar in order to keep my dexterity and cognitive abilities sharp.
